We totally understand the urge or need to be vegetarian and or vegan at FKD. There are a lot of reasons to go that way and we've done it ourselves in the past. Regardless of your reason it's still hard to eat, cook, eat out, or even plan ahead when you make that kind of decision for your life.
We've had a lot of requests for a tasty and healthy vegetarian/vegan option and our Executive Chef Lindsay cooks mostly vegan when she's at home so here it is!
You can now order a whole week's worth of vegetarian/vegan meals that we will deliver to your door.
The types of meals you can expect will be roughly the same as the omnivore meals except with a meat substitute. For example:
Sesame crusted tofu steak with ginger-soy glaze, kimchi brown rice and pickled vegetables.
Black bean falafel with wild brown rice pilaf and cucumber-tomato salad with white balsamic vinaigrette.
